Turkey Burger Bowl

unnamed.jpg

If you like burgers, this is the perfect way to enjoy all of your toppings without having to struggle to keep them on your bun. It’s also a low carb option is you are watching your nutrition and want a lower-carb meal in your day that is still filled with veggies and protein. I know sometimes I have sensitivity to having too much wheat, so I like to switch it up sometimes and avoid the bun on my burger. This is an easy switch and you get to be creative with it!

Ingredients:

  • Lean Ground Turkey

  • Spring Mix

  • Cherry Tomatoes

  • Pickles

  • Avocado

  • Alexia Sweet Potato Fries (I really like the cajun flavor)

  • Red Onion

  • Pickles

  • Jalapeños

  • Dressing: Honey Mustard and BBQ Sauce

How to make:

  • First, mix the ground turkey with jalapeños, red onion, and garlic.

  • Next, cook the ground turkey mixture in a skillet with olive oil until it is golden brown. I usually drain the turkey juices out so that it can crisp up nicely.

  • Then, it is time to build your bowl! Add Spring Mix Lettuce to the base of your bowl to start. Top with ground turkey, pickles, avocado, red onion, tomatoes, jalapeños, dressing, and sweet potato fries.

This one is perfect for that summer BBQ or honestly any day you want it’s that good. Enjoy!
