Minty Green Smoothie

This is my version of my favorite green smoothie I have ever had. This smoothie is filled with tons of leafy green veggies, added sweetness of fresh mango, and a secret ingredient that gives it that perfect punch of refreshment. I know some of you are thinking, how can a green smoothie be sweet and refreshing? The color is gross, no thank you. Trust me on this one, I promise you will love it and your gut will be thanking me later for all of the hidden nutrients in this one.

Ingredients:

  • 2 Kale Leaves (chop off the hard stem on the bottom)

  • 2 Bok Choy Leaves (rinse really good before adding into the blender and chop off the bottom white section)

  • 1 large handful of Spinach Leaves

  • 1 Banana

  • 1 Mango

  • 1/2 cup Fresh Mint Leaves (do not forget this ingredient….its the key to making it refreshing and enjoyable!)

How to make:

  • Blend all of the ingredients above together with about 8 oz of water. Once it is smooth and silky, pour into your favorite smoothie cup and enjoy!
